Notifications
BoxD Sports keeps owners and participants informed. Free participants receive ‘You won’ after the game. VIP participants receive live hit alerts in every pool, no matter who runs it. An organizer’s Pool Pro does not give live hit alerts to the whole pool. Other core alerts are included for everyone:
- Someone wants more boxes → the owner. When a participant is at their box limit and requests more, you (the owner) get an alert, so you can approve or deny it with a tap.
- Your request was answered → you. When the owner approves or denies your request for more boxes, you hear back right away — no need to keep checking.
- You won → everyone who owns that box. Free participants receive the result after the game; VIP participants get the live hit. This applies to each person sharing the box, according to their own VIP access. Win notifications use plain text, without emoji.
- The numbers were drawn → everyone in the pool. When the board's numbers are drawn and the pool locks in, every participant gets a heads-up that the game is set and ready to watch.
- Game starting soon → people in the pool. Optional reminder when your pool’s real game is about to kick off, so the group is ready for board time.
- Live draw starting → everyone in the pool. When the owner starts Live Draw, participants get a push to open the Live Draw screen and watch digits lock. If the organizer uses a live camera draw (Founding / Pool Pro), the pool can watch free in the app.
Players can find completed wins in Past Winnings in Settings, separate from the notification inbox. Results are always shown in points.
Everyone controls their own alerts. Each category is a separate on/off switch under Settings → Notifications. Turn off any you don't want — your choices are yours alone and never change what anyone else receives. (They apply across all your pools, not one at a time.)
One thing to allow first. Notifications only reach you if you let BoxD Sports send them when your phone asks — usually the first time you open the app. If you tapped "Don't Allow," you can switch BoxD Sports notifications back on in your phone's own Settings anytime.
For entertainment purposes only. BoxD Sports organizes and manages your pool — it does not collect, hold, or transfer money or anything of monetary value.
