← How It Works

2. Score Change

These pools share the same two steps — Adding Participants and Drawing the Numbers.

A pool where every scoring play has a winner — not just at the end of each period. Every score that happens — a touchdown, field goal, extra point, two-point conversion, or safety — awards the box matching the new score.

What you set up:

The advanced features are available here too, same as Boxes — touching boxes, reverse score, and pre-game prizes (pick digit combos that win the instant the numbers are drawn, before kickoff).

How it runs: Add participants → draw numbers → BoxD handles the scoring automatically: the 0–0 box wins at the start, every scoring change awards the matching box, and the rest of the pot is awarded at the end according to the style you chose. A live play-by-play feed and running pot total keep everyone in the loop. A box can win more than once — the board shows how many times.

In a Season or Series? A Score Change game inside a Season / Series plays exactly like this — it just gets its own editable pot for that game and follows its own rules, set per game as you build the series.

For entertainment purposes only. BoxD organizes and manages your pool — it does not collect, hold, or transfer money or anything of monetary value.
