Drawing the Numbers
The 0–9 numbers along the top and side of the board aren’t set when you create the pool — you draw them once the board is ready. The Draw Numbers button appears once all 100 boxes are claimed (or you can tap Draw Now early, with a heads-up that empty boxes won’t have a winner).
1. Random or Manual
- Random — Tap once and BoxD Sports shuffles the numbers onto both axes.
- Manual — You type the twenty digits yourself (0–9 once per axis). Use this when numbers were drawn offline and you want the board to match.
2. In-app Live Draw
When you choose Live Draw, the whole pool can open the Live Draw screen and watch digits lock one at a time. The board in the app is the source of truth.
- App draws — BoxD Sports picks each unused digit in order (top left→right, then side top→bottom). You and the pool watch each lock.
- I draw — You pull real numbers (hat, cards, whatever) and type each digit on the pad in the same order. Everyone on the Live Draw screen sees each lock.
Owner starts with Begin after the pool is on the screen. Cancel Draw, Undraw, and Edit Numbers are owner safety nets (below).
3. Live camera draw (Founding / Pool Pro)
Pool Pro organizers can broadcast their camera Live Draw; members watch free. Free organizers keep Random, Manual, and non-camera Live Draw. BoxD Sports works on the web today. iPhone and Android apps are coming to the App Store and Google Play.
- Everyone in the pool can watch free — members never need Founding or Pool Pro to watch the camera draw.
- Free organizers still get Random, Manual, and in-app Live Draw (numbers lock on every phone without the camera).
- If the camera drops, digits still lock on the board — the draw does not depend on video staying up.
- Viewers can Report or Block an abusive stream. Abuse reports go to support@boxdsports.com.
Optional: Meet / Zoom / FaceTime
If you still want a separate group call, you can paste a meeting URL. That’s optional and secondary — not the same as a live camera draw in BoxD Sports. Confirm numbers with Random, Manual, or Live Draw so the board is official.
Once numbers are committed, they lock and never change during the game. Owner tools:
- Cancel Draw — Stop a Live Draw mid-stream and start over before it finishes.
- Undraw Numbers — Clear a finished draw if nothing has been scored yet (with warnings if claims or pre-game prizes already exist).
- Edit Numbers — Correct digits when the product allows and the game hasn’t produced winners.
All three are owner-only and ask for confirm.
