← How It Works

Co-commissioner

A Co-commissioner is a second account that can run the pool day to day. There is still one owner. The owner keeps delete, transfer, who pays, and the power to add or remove the Co-commissioner.

Cap

One Co-commissioner per pool (or series). They can also play in that pool. The role is not a spot and does not take a box.

How to add

  1. Open the pool → Edit.
  2. Scroll to the bottom. Tap Add co-commissioner. (Red-outlined button, under Transfer this pool.)
  3. That opens a new screen. Search Existing member / My Players. They must already have a Boxd Sports account. There is no By-email door on this screen.
  4. Tap Send co-commissioner request.
  5. They get an email and an in-app notification.
  6. Their screen shows the pool name, type, members, entry points, notes, and View rules, points and game details — plus a plain line: they can run the pool day to day; they cannot delete it, transfer it, or change who pays. Paid tools follow the owner’s plan, not theirs.
  7. They Accept or Decline.
  8. Until they Accept they are not Co-commissioner. No tools. No Co-commissioner chip. No byline.
  9. You can Cancel a waiting request. It expires in 7 days.
  10. After they Accept, Edit shows Co-commissioner · {name}. You can Remove them. Their boxes and entries stay.

What they can do after Accept

What they cannot do

What you see

Paid tools

Automatic scoring and camera Live Draw follow the OWNER’s plan. A free Co-commissioner on a Pool Pro owner’s pool still gets those tools on that pool, because the pool is Pro. A Pool Pro Co-commissioner does not upgrade a free owner’s pool.

Series

One Co-commissioner on the series. Same request / Accept rules.

After a transfer

An accepted Co-commissioner stays when the pool changes owners. If the new owner is that same person, the Co-commissioner role ends.

For entertainment purposes only. Boxd Sports organizes and manages your pool — it does not collect, hold, or transfer money or anything of monetary value.
