Transfer a pool
You can hand a pool to another Boxd Sports account. Nothing changes until they Accept. You stay the commissioner until then.
How
- Open the pool → Edit.
- Scroll to the bottom. Tap Transfer this pool. (Red-outlined button. Save stays green at the bottom of the screen.)
- That opens a new screen. Pick who gets it:
- Existing member / My Players (they already have a Boxd Sports account), or
- By email, if that option is on the Transfer screen.
- Send the transfer request.
- They get an email and an in-app notification. The link only works for the person you named.
- Their screen shows the pool name, the type (Survivor Pool, 100 Box Pool, etc.), members / boxes or entries, entry points, notes, and View rules, points and game details.
- They Accept or Decline.
- You can Cancel the request while it is still waiting. It expires in 7 days.
What happens on Accept
- They become the owner. They get delete, transfer, billing, and Add/Remove co-commissioner.
- Your paid plan does not move with the pool. Service follows their account.
- If you chose to stay as a participant, you keep your boxes / entries and play like anyone else.
- If a Co-commissioner was already accepted on that pool, they stay Co-commissioner under the new owner.
- If you transfer the pool TO the Co-commissioner, they become the owner and the co-commissioner role ends. One person is not both.
What does not change until Accept
You still run the pool. Members are not told a new commissioner is in until it is accepted.
Series
A series uses the same Transfer control on series Edit. One transfer covers the series.
Back
Back from Transfer returns to Edit. It does not dump you out of the pool.
For entertainment purposes only. Boxd Sports organizes and manages your pool — it does not collect, hold, or transfer money or anything of monetary value.
