Delete your Boxd Sports account
You can delete your Boxd Sports account at any time, in the app or on the website.
- Sign in to the Boxd Sports app, or at app.boxdsports.com.
- Go to Settings → Login & Security.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
Can't sign in? Email info@boxdsports.com from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it.
What gets deleted
- Your account, profile, and sign-in
- Your alerts and notification settings
- Your pool chat messages
- Pools you run: they pass to your co-owner if you have one. Otherwise they're deleted, along with everyone's boxes and picks in them.
What stays
- In other people's pools, your boxes and picks stay on the board under your display name so their results stay correct, for as long as that pool exists. They're no longer connected to any account.
- Messages you sent directly to a Commissioner stay without your account attached, until the Commissioner deletes the pool.
- Conversations with Boxd Sports support stay without your account attached, and are deleted one year after your account is deleted.
- Records of past payments stay without your account attached, and are kept for seven years for tax and accounting, then deleted.
Subscriptions
- A Pool Pro or VIP subscription bought on the website ends immediately. There's no refund for unused time.
- If you pay through the App Store or Google Play, deleting your account does not cancel it. Cancel it in your iPhone settings or in the Play Store.
